Cart Path Only Rule When conditions dictate that it is “cart path only,” the following rule is in effect. Note – this applies only to the drive on par 4’s and second shot on par 5’s.
If the ball you would play is across the fairway from the cart path, you may move it closer to the cart path. No closer to the hole. In the same condition (rough or fairway).
